Directions from Bruce Highway
Travelling north from Brisbane – Turn off the Bruce Highway to Maryborough and follow the directional signs to Hervey Bay.
Continue along the Maryborough–Hervey Bay Road past the Hervey Bay Visitor Information Centre (on your left), the United Service Station and the Eli Waters (Woolworths) Shopping Village.
Go straight through the traffic lights to the roundabout and turn right at the roundabout into Boat Harbour Drive. You will pass through a number of traffic lights and roundabouts on Boat Harbour Drive until you approach the intersection with Main Street where you will turn left. (This intersection is easy to spot as it has a Red Rooster, Superwash car wash, Bunnings and Hungry Jacks and Mobil Service Station on the corners.)
Golden Sands Motor Inn is on your right on the corner of Main Street and Old Maryborough Road.
Travelling south from Bundaberg – Take the Hervey Bay turnoff at Torbanlea and follow the directional signs to Hervey Bay. You will travel along the Torbanlea Pialba Road for approximately 20km.
Turn left into Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road and continue past the Hervey Bay Visitor Information Centre (on your left), the United Service Station and the Eli Waters (Woolworths) Shopping Village.
Go straight through the traffic lights to the roundabout and turn right at the roundabout into Boat Harbour Drive.
